Hi, I’m Abigail Middleton

I began Middleton PLLC to develop community and provide resources to people in similar life stages. If you are here to find someone going through a similar experience, you’ve come to the right place.

My goal is to create supportive and empowered communities, and to meet the loneliness epidemic head-on. Let’s find a place for you to connect with others.

My Approach

Bring people together, tap into collective wisdom, inject some knowledge into the atmosphere, create an environment where we learn from one another. Watch the magic of connection unfold.

My greatest privilege

Is to work with clients and bear witness to their potential and growth, using compassionate, trauma-informed tools. I often say, “I don’t do this work, you do!” This work is a joy, and I’m thrilled to offer my various tools to the DC area.

Where DiD I come from?

I started out as a USAID contractor, working in post-conflict peace building. I spent time around the world, learning culture and supporting communities returning to peace.

Recognizing my affinity for the traumatized world, I went to school at Boston College for a Master of Social Work, with a trauma certification. I then worked at Georgetown Hospital as I gained my social work license. More recently, I’ve been working in private practice with adults.
