FAQs
Who can benefit from therapy?
Young adults. Middle adults. Parents. Singles. Newly engaged. Long-time partnered. People in changing life circumstances. A person wanting to date more, without the use of dating apps. Someone struggling with low motivation at work. Anyone with social anxiety. Therapy is here to support you on your journey in life.
What populations do you serve?
I am specialized in working with adults (over age 18), suffering from depressive symptoms, anxiety, trauma symptoms, grief, and adjustment to life changes.
How much does this cost?
The groups are designed to be a more cost-effective option for those with a specific, time-limited issue. (each group has a unique cost structure - see specific page for more info!) They are created to build community for anyone feeling alone in your struggle.
why groups?
We are in a loneliness epidemic. It’s been studied, it’s been declared, now how are we dealing with it? Come and get support in a group of people dealing with similar roadblocks in life. Groups are known to help normalize, deal with grief, manage anxiety symptoms, and so much more.
What are your preferred type of therapy?
I am trained in Trauma Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Grief Therapy, mindfulness, and CBT for Insomnia. A strong treatment plan will include a variety of techniques from these modalities.
What if I don’t feel better?
Sometimes we have to look right into the darkness before we can start to heal. We do this with compassion and comfort, but the hard work is important to move forward.
